Bailey DuMond
Bailey Du Mond grew up in the wide open beauty of Jackson Hole, Wyoming, where her love for hairstyling sparked early. At 18, she headed to Seattle to train at Gene Juarez and dove into the craft with a full heart. In 2010, she and her husband landed in Bend, ready for fresh adventures, a growing family, and the start of a thriving career.
After years perfecting her skills at Lemon Drop Salon, Bailey stepped into a bold new chapter in 2020—she bought the salon. From there, she reshaped it into a warm, lively space that feels like a second home. She expanded the salon, uplifted the experience, and created a place where new stylists can learn, grow, and shine.
Bailey is deeply committed to building a team that feels supported and excited to come to work. “I focus a lot of my energy on my team. A happy salon culture naturally leads to happy clients,” she says. Her leadership style has opened longterm career paths for her stylists, complete with retirement support, 401(k), paid time off, and health insurance—benefits rarely seen in the industry.
Behind the chair, Bailey lights up when working with blonde looks. From soft, sunkissed tones to bold, bright statement blondes, she’s mastered it all through top tier training and years of hands-on artistry. Though she dreamed of blonding from the start, she sharpened her career first as a cutting stylist, giving her a strong foundation in both cuts and color.
When she’s not running the salon or crafting beautiful blondes, Bailey treasures time with her husband and daughters. They love exploring the outdoors and soaking up everything Central Oregon offers.
